%X Two separate amplification products from random amplified microsatellite  fingerprints of Heterobasidion annosum (s.str.) and H. parviporum were  converted to specific markers. The markers were tested to be species  specific and combined to a single PCR-reaction, which allowed the  detection and identification of the two fungi directly from wood  samples.
